Healing in Motion is a physical therapy practice based on healing through a mind-body approach. Every session is a personalized one-on-one session, which focuses on body awareness, pain resolution, balancing the body, breath, movement, and functional restoration. The body has an innate capacity to heal on its own. Healing in motion facilitates this ability through hands-on techniques and movements that allows the body to release restrictions and habitual holding patterns, so the body can reorganize to a more balanced position with less pain. Once balance is achieved, awareness exercises are taught to establish better posture and movement patterns. Lifestyle changes to promote a patient’s health and well-being are also recommended.
